our family

andy & meg

Andy and Meg are doing great. Andy is about to jump into his 30th year at Hyland Hills Water World - it's kind of crazy to think! But he is as enthusiastic and ready to go as ever! We are hoping for another successful season!

Meg is loving life and thoroughly enjoying spending more time with our awesome kiddos. She is also loving her new (old) career with her return to web design. We sold Supper Solutions in January 2009 and, after some soul searching, she decided web design was where her passion was. She is loving being in full control of her destiny and thoroughly enjoying the work.

jakers, trist, brenna ann and marley boy

What more can we say? They are so much fun, so many laughs, and so darned sweet!

Jakob is about to be a 3rd grader and is absolutely loving school. He played soccer for his dad again this spring and said, "Dad is the best coach ever." We agree. He will be taking golf and swimming lessons this summer and attending a soccer camp with some school friends in June. Mostly he is looking forward to another Water World-filled summer.

Trist is about to finish up his third year at Hyland Hills Pre-School and is just as crazy as ever. He can't WAIT to be a kindergartner next fall at Coyote Ridge. He's been diligently practicing his coyote howling to make sure he is ready to go. He is playing soccer this spring (also for his dad) and is still full of it. Trist will also be taking swim lessons and playing at Water World LOTS this summer.

Brenna Ann just turned 2. Crazy how time flies. She is adorable and busy. She thoroughly enjoys bossing her brothers around (all three of them, Mars is no exception to the rule!). She is also pro at operating her grandparents, aunts, uncles and parents and she is working hard on trying to be sweet to her two best friends, Maddy and Brookie. We think 2 is looking good on her...she is turning into a little lady. It is so fun to have a little princess in the midst of all the balls, trucks and action figures. She is sweet and beautiful and we are thankful every day for her.

Marley, farley, floofy, schmoofy (that's what we call him). He is so great. He will be 11 this July and is just as sweet and spoiled as ever. He is my number 1 assistant at Mimi Designs. He looks great, feels great (we hope) and is just along for the ride. Literally. Don't even THINK of leaving this house unless he is going with. And if, for some reason, we are not taking him, he lets us know that it was uncool by emptying the trash all over the house. Has anyone seen/read "Marley and Me?" Just kidding. He is an angel in comparison. We count our blessings every day we have him in the back seat with us -- he completes this family.
